CHASING CHALLENGES: How I Built a Team, a School, and a Life in Rural Rajasthan

Description

What happens when a successful German entrepreneur trades her life in Berlin for a crumbling fort in a remote Indian village? For Andrea, it was the beginning of an audacious dream: to build a hockey academy for children who had nothing. But her vision of hope and sport soon collides with a harsh reality of local politics, corruption, and cultural sabotage. To give the children a future, she must navigate a world of threats and intimidation, where the people she trusts most become her greatest adversaries. (Based on true events.)

Andrea Thumshirn is a lifelong explorer of passions from a fashion designer, tourism marketer, sports manager, hockey player, and the founder of the Hockey Village India Project.
