The book elucidates labour laws which are based on doctrine of principles of natural justice and the subject has been dealt with exhaustively. The book has made an attempt to cover entire range of labour laws which are applicable to public, private and cooperative sectors. The statutes and case laws are adapted up to December 2025 and settled, consistent and prevalent-legal view has been presented. This book is written in simple language and will be useful to the students of social work, labour relations, personnel management, industrial relations and law officers of public, private and cooperative sector enterprises.

V.B. Gupta has got an experience of nearly 64 years in the field of Personnel Management and Industrial Relations while working in public, private, cooperative sectors and Bank Association. He has retired as Chief Personnel, Punjab National Bank. He was deputed to Indian Bank Association as Deputy Personnel Advisor for 3 years. Mr. Gupta was the Hon. General Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Management Association from 1980 to 1984. He was a member of National Institute of Personnel Management and Uttar Pradesh Management Association and is Life Member of the All India Management Association. Presently he is advising one of the big cooperative sector bank- SVC Cooperative Bank.
