Vinode B. Ramgopal has spent over 30 years on Wall Street as an investment banker and financial markets entrepreneur. Mr. Ramgopal was educated at the London School of Economics and Merton College, Oxford and subsequently led Lehman Brothers Sovereign Advisory and Global Privatization in the 1990’s. From this seat Mr. Ramgopal advised governments across emerging markets in restructuring and selling public sector assets, leading over $30 bl. of cross border M&A and IPOs. In 2000, Mr. Ramgopal left Lehman to build Marco Polo Network, a pioneering fintech platform, the first initiative to link all emerging markets into a single hub for global investor access. Mr. Ramgopal is currently Chairman of Magellan Global Inc., a US based global investment company whose holdings include Marco Polo Exchange (www.mpxchange.com), Pi Capital International, (www.picapital.global) and the Elcano Fund.

Ajay Vishwas Dandekar is a faculty member in the Department of History, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Shiv Nadar (Institute of Eminence) Deemed to be a University. His research interests take him to the Nomads, Pastoralists, Denotified Tribes and issues of Agrarian Crisis. He has done some work in those areas of his interests.
