Khalid Kamal Faruqihas more than three decades of experience in practical librarianship and teaching of library sciece in Jamia Millia Islamia and Hamdard University, New Delhi. He worked in different capacities, viz, University Archivist, University Librarian in Dr. Zakir Hussain Library, Jamia Millia Islamia and Academic Counsellor in IGNOU since the beginning of the course. Mr. Faruqi has a vast experience of Library Automation and Networking and successfully computerised two University Libraries viz. Dr. Zakir Hussain Library and Hamdard University Library. Presently he is working as University Librarian in Hamdard University, New Delhi.

Mehtab Alam, with M.Phil. and Ph.D. from JNU, New Delhi and Master degree in library and Information Science has been associated with prominent Library Automation Software Companies such as Libsys and Soft link. He had aserved VTLS, a US-based Multinational as Manager Information Systems. Mehtab had also served Dr. Zakir Hussain Library, Jamia Millia Islamia as Asst. Librarian. Dr. Mehtab has authored a book"Iraq and the Arab World’ (2002)and contributed several articles in various journals, magazines and newspapers. Presently, he is working as a Lecturer in the Department of Library and Information Science, AMU, Aligarh.
