His areas of interest include applied linguistics, second language acquisition, morphology and sociolinguistics. Currently, he is Professor Emeritus, Vidya Bhawan Society, Udaipur, India.

A.L. Khanna is a former Reader in English, Rajdhani College, University of Delhi, Delhi, India. His interests include ELT, applied linguistics, material production, evaluation and assessment.
