Swadeshi and Swaraj: The Rise of New Patriotism
The present volume is a selection from the writings and speeches of Bipinchandra Pal during 1902-07. The articles are mostly from the author’s weekly New India. The five addresses on ‘The New Movement’, etc. were delivered in Madras in 1907. Bipinchandra Pal was an Indian nationalist. He was a towering figure in the Indian nationalist movement and a leader of the extremist wing of the Congress Party who advocated a more militant line against British imperialism.
